The entrance hall with telephone/WIFI router and cloakroom off leads to the spacious and beamed Long Barn with views over the garden and large velux windows making this area the focus of the barns. The fully fitted kitchen area has a Rangemaster double oven gas/electric cooker, 2 fridges, freezer, bottle cooler, dishwasher, washing machine and combi microwave. There is also a tumble dryer in the outside games shed. Wood worktops and pull out storage house crockery, cutlery and glassware for twenty guests.

 

Beyond the kitchen area there is a dining table for six which divides the kitchen from the lower level lounge with woodburner, TV, Video, DVD and CD stereo with Ipod dock. A selection of books, magazines, Videos, DVDs and board games as well as comprehensive information on places to visit, walking and biking route guides and local information are all displayed here.

 

Stairs from the entrance hall lead down to the three Long Barn side bedrooms, the first of which (Robin) features an antique double bed and the second (Merlin) two single beds which can be zip linked to form a king size double on request, Between these two bedrooms is a bathroom with shower. Continuing down the passage past French doors opening on to the terrace and two steps down is the king size Otter bedroom with ensuite shower room and door on to the terrace.

 

Returning to the entrance hall a short passage leads past the door and steps down to the terrace and into the Tallet half of the barns. The Tallet dining room has an extending table to seat between eight and fourteen guests and also features sofa seating for eight as well as TV and CD Stereo.

 

At the far end of the Tallet is the Rook bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bathroom. Stairs down from the Tallet lead to three further bedrooms. The first (Moorhen) has two single beds which can be zip linked to form a king size double on request. Next to this bedroom is a bathroom with shower and airing cupboard. Along the corridor to the Swallow bedroom with antique double bed, handbasin and doors directly onto the terrace. At the far end is the Fox double bedroom with ensuite shower and doors onto the terrace.

All bedrooms and corridors are fully carpeted while the dining room, lounge and kitchen have wood or laminate flooring.

Outside

The fully enclosed garden has a large terrace area with seating for twenty, gas and charcoal barbecues and a giant chess set. The grassed area leads to a fenced stream and play area with swings, slide and sandpit. The games shed has table tennis, table football and darts and also houses the four adult and two childrens bikes for guest use as well as space for the secure storage of your own sports equipment.

High up over the games shed is the furnished treehouse with a balcony that looks down over the barns and the petanque court and car parking for up to eight cars.

Beyond are some sixty acres of farmland with footpaths and trails to which guests at Fletchers have access.
